Water Quality Report

SRAPO is part of a widespread water testing program in the general area of the Severn River. For many years we have gathered data on the most important aspect of the cottage experience - the quality of our water. Trent Severn Waterway Round Table Report

Severn River Marina and Water Access Report

At SRAPO's annual Meeting in May of 2008, the Severn River Association of Property Owners (SRAPO) raised issues relating to Marina redevelopment and limited water access facilities on the Severn River with the Mayors of the Townships of Muskoka Lakes, Georgian Bay, Severn and the Superintendent of Trent-Severn Waterway (TSW). As a result of discusssions at the meeting, it was agreed that the Townships and TSW would work with SRAPO in a study of the situation between the Swift Rapids Lock and Port Severn. Resident Survey Results

Severn River Stewardship Plan - Swift Rapids to Big Chute

This report was done by SRAPO in the spring of 2009 based upon a Resident Survey that was done in the fall of 2008. It identifies the issues that are most important to the Residents of the Severn River.

Sewage System Re-inspection Program

In the summer of 2010 both Township of Muskoka Lakes and Severn Township will be conducting re-inspections of existing septic systems. Muskoka Lakes has provides us with an excellent report that shows the problems that occurred with septic systems Three Mile Lake in the Township of Muskoka Lakes and how these problems we dealt with.
